Neil deGrasse Tyson was born and raised in New York City where he was educated in the public schools clear through his graduation from the Bronx High School of Science. Tyson went on to earn his BA in Physics from Harvard and his PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia. Tyson's professional research interests are broad, but include star formation, exploding stars, dwarf galaxies, and the structure of our Milky Way. Tyson obtains his data from the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as from telescopes in California, New Mexico, Arizona, and in the Andes Mountains of Chile. In 2001, Tyson was appointed by President Bush to serve on a 12-member commission that studied the Future of the US Aerospace Industry. Great Ideas for Wedding Anniversary Gifts

When it comes to your wedding anniversary, you do not want to mess it up. One dinky mistake can haunt you forever. If you do something out of the lowly then you can be a hero for the lifetime of your marriage. Every person can do the easy things and get flowers, buy some type of jewelry, and go out for a fancy dinner. That will get you by but you are assuredly just saying that you are lazy and the day is not that different from any other day. What you need to do is still get the flowers, jewelry, and go for the fancy supper but also add a dinky extra something that lets your spouse know you still think about them and care.

You can agenda a hot air balloon ride. How romantic will that be? You and your spouse get up early in the morning and head out to a field only to be lifted up in the air by a balloon. Fantasize the stories you can tell your friends and house about toasting each other with champagne while watching the sun come over the horizon as you are a thousand feet above the earth's surface. You will be the envy of everyone.

Telescope

Another idea is to get a star named after your spouse. It may sound a dinky cheesy but some habitancy will think it is very sweet. The process is easy and you will get a map showing you where the star is so you can see it straight through a telescope.

Consider getting couples massage. There are masseuses who will come directly to your home and do this for you. How splendid will it be when both of you are being pampered at the same time. You can also go to a spa and have this done in a private room and afterwards go and sit in a sauna together. This is a day for both of you to sit and relax while enjoying each others company.

Try giving your spouse dance lessons. This is a great way to spend more time together and learn something new. While learning how to swing dance or salsa you can bond even closer to each other. After your lessons are over you will be able to impress Every person as the king and queen of the dance floor. Whatever you conclude to do, do remember to make it special. Putting a dinky extra opinion will go a long way in your marriage. You want to show your partner that you love them and think about them every day.

Summer studying Activities For the Whole house

Do you remember those times last summer when the relentless sound of "I'm bored." made you count the days until the start of the new school year? Most kids celebrate the starting of summer vacation but, too often, run out of things to do before the summer ends. The resulting restlessness and boredom can lead to fights among siblings and way too much screen time. A clever parent who has good survival skills knows that having a plan in place at the start of vacation is the key to a peaceful summer. I advise you consist of family activities that are local, inexpensive, and educational. Reading and local trips are ready that entertain and educate all family members.

Reading is an uncostly way to involve children in new studying experiences. Library books are free and attending library activities provides opportunities for children to learn while socializing with other children. The act of reading expands one's knowledge base, increases fluency and vocabulary, decreases screen time, and develops a broader comprehension of the world surface our local environment. Reading a good story aloud to siblings can be the foundation for dramatic imaginative play activities, art, and discussions.

Telescope

We are fortunate to live in a society that provides many opportunities to learn more about history, nature, and climate. We have Vasquez Rocks just down the road where families can hike and learn more about California history, geology, and view the clear night time sky straight through telescopes. We have an plenty of local nurseries where families can learn about our weather and atmosphere by studying the growing habits and climatic characteristic requirements of the varied trees, flowers, and shrubs. In addition, there are many hiking trails in the surrounding green belt areas that furnish additional opportunities for studying nature while getting some corporeal activity. Our city also provides very low fee park and recreation activities that furnish opportunities engage in art, music, and sports classes.

Just remember, in the end, it's all about studying while you are having fun. The extreme goal is to make time for the whole family while reducing sibling squabbles and belief upon television and computers for entertainment. So get the family together, involve every person in the decision making, and beat summer boredom by studying together.

The Meade Etx125 Telescope Inspires a Whole New Generation of Possibility

In July of1969 man landed on the moon and the whole world broke out into celebration. That sense of accomplishment has followed us into the 21st century. Now even greater possibilities exist, things we didn't dare to even dream of before. And many of these possibilities are inspired by the very object that inspired man to fly into outer space; the telescope. Meet the Meade Etx125 telescope, bringing new dreams and possibilities to a whole new world.

The Meade Etx125 is as efficient as it is friendly. It overcomes two of the many challenges most aspiring night sky observers struggle with. The first is how to pick out the right object to target, and the second is how to align the telescope to accomplish the best focus on that object. The Etx125 series of Meade telescopes solves both of these problems with their industrialized high resolution optics and automatic alignment. This is why the Meade Etx125 is in such very high demand, along with the fact that this telescope's button operated command center makes it very user friendly. Gone are the days of wasting time calibrating the lenses and adjusting knobs. Digitization has brought us into this post-modern era where whatever with a good Meade telescope like the Etx125 can make the next great discovery.

Telescope

The Meade 125Etx is one of many telescopes made by a business in Meade, California. Since it is very easy to carry colse to due to its small size, it is the best telescope for those planning a trip into the southern hemisphere where the stars shine exciting in the clear night sky. The Meade Etx125 narrate reveals that this telescope is known for its great capability to pick out even the most distant stars and planets due to its high resolution. It also cites the Etx125 as a telescope that has been set apart from others of its type due to its unusual abilities.

The use of computer technology to operate the focus and resolution settings of the Meade Ext125 has given it the edge over the competition. The software that utilizes this technology makes it so efficient it is roughly like dealing with synthetic intelligence. The Meade Ext125 can unquestionably pick straight through the debris and the rocks that litter the stratosphere. On top of that, by enabling dissimilarity of exciting and dark images it has improved image resolution. So the Ext125 is one of the most industrialized telescopes on the market.

The Meade Etx125 can focus light from space and so heighten the contrasts required to view distant planets such as Jupiter that are blocked by large clouds of dust. Despite such planets being of ample size, most telescopes can't pick them out. The mounting for these telescopes have extra adjusters on both sides of the axis. This allows the observer more control, since they can adjust the speeds using a simple button.

The Etx125 telescope has a cordless operating capability made possible by powerful and long-life batteries. So you aren't required to always attach the telescope to a plug outlet. Once fully charged, the Dc batteries can last over forty hours. With such reliable alternate power, even from the most remote place the night sky is yours. Simply put, the Meade Etx125 has redefined the science of astronomy.

Neil deGrasse Tyson: Kinship w/ Cosmos (8 mins) Video Clips. Duration : 7.93 Mins.

Neil deGrasse Tyson's extemporaneous "testimonial" delivered at the 2006 Beyond Belief conference. This version is the longest (8 mins) and with the most added visuals. Contains one of the clips used in Symphony of Science "We Are All Connected." Extraordinary example of how a worldview grounded in mainstream science can be exhilarating and evoke "religious" feelings of belongingness to the Cosmos. This is the version that Michael Dowd uses in his long programs on science and the sacred. The extra segments are at the end: (1) Neil challenging that scientific study of his own brain while contemplating the cosmos might light up the same circuits as those active in the brains of religious people having a spiritual experience., and (2) Neil reminding listeners that it was the public that rose up and demanded the Hubble Space Telescope be maintained beyond its planned termination.

Le Paradis Hotel Mauritius

In 2008 we stayed at the hotel Le Paradis. It came extremely recommended from a friend of ours and it had great reviews on the internet. It is part of the Beachcomber hotel chain which have any hotels placed in prime positions in places like Goa, Mauritius and the Seychelles.

The hotel foyer was really amazing with cedar wood pillars, gorgeous indoor ponds and palm trees everywhere, it was roughly a reception area inside yet outside. There was also an old brass telescope pointing up to the skies to allow you to do a bit of star gazing. The foyer also had some designer shops placed in it.

Telescope

We stayed in one of the private villas which stretched along a sandy beach, we were about 100 yards from the sea which stretched out as far as you could see. The villa offered us all we wanted and more, plasma tv's, PlayStation for the kids, indoor and outdoor showers, gorgeous patio and three bedrooms furnished to a very high standard. Our en-suite bathroom had original stone walls and there was granite in any place in all bathrooms.

We also had our very own golf cart to get nearby the hotel complex on and we had a private villa maid to cook for us and clean up. really all was catered for, we woke up to a table full of breakfast, from bacon and eggs to all kinds of fruit. We use to have our breakfast covering on the patio overlooking the sea which was very shallow quite a long way out and was crystal clear.

We use to go down to the hotel pool during the day which had to be seen to be believed. Surrounded by palm trees and solid cedar wood pool loungers with waiters catering for your every need. We asked for a bowl of nuts one day and they returned with a large thick rough cut glass box with every kind of nut in it you could possibly think of. The bar was right next to the pool which served all kinds of beers, wines and cocktails as well as freshly made crepes with any kind of filling you wanted.

On an evening we ate at the hotel restaurant which was partly inside and partly outside. It was a self aid restaurant which served whatever from all kinds of locally caught fish, steak to lobster and pasta. The self aid area was weighty and I guess it had to be to fit in all of the dissimilar choices on offer every night. The desserts were to die for and so magnificently made with so much care.

Le Paradis is placed on the "Le Morne" peninsula which is on the south west cost of Mauritius. It's the type of hotel which does cost a bit more than the usual hotel but you are really treated like royalty. I would propose it to any family to give it a go, we're going back for sure.

Meade Ext90Pe Premiere Edition - Now Under $1000

The Meade ext90pe premiere edition, much like its newer version ext105Pe, is made expressly for stargazing. This great telescope retails for under 00, although as an older version it's somewhat difficult to find the Meade ext90pe premiere edition, except used.

Until the Meade ext90pe came along the two biggest difficulties for an amateur astronomer were aligning their telescope and then positively locating celestial objects.

Telescope

Meade's new Etx premier edition, first the 90E model, then the upgraded 105, resolved these astronomy issues, however. Now when you want to look at deep space with your Meade etx90pe or 105pe, your telescope will automatically level itself, point to the north and even set the time for you. All you'll have to do with your Meade etx90pe is tell it your location, or just instruct it about your zip code. Your Etx, with its patented automatic alignment function, will point to the first star for alignment. Then you'll just have to use the telescope's wide-field software, called SmartFinder, which will center the red dot over the stars you use for alignment. This gives you foreseen, accuracy. With your Meade etx90pe reflector telescope it's that easy.

The telescope has ultra high coating for transmission, and a dual axis electronic controller and drive system.

With the purchase of the Meade telescope etx90pe premiere edition or its newer model, the 105, you get any additional items. You'll have a an Autostar brand computer controller, a deluxe model field tripod, an 8x25 viewfinder that is right angled, an eyepiece and instructions on how to use your Meade ext90pe telescope premiere edition.

Pre-Christian American Technology

The Caral pyramids are older than the ones on Giza's Plateau agreeing to some academics. The mummies found in the Hebrides and Canary Islands have similar interment procedures to those in Peru. There are many things that show industrialized technology started in Peru and it is hard to know when it all began or what kind of culture may have taught the white citizen known as the Chachapoyas who were still the leaders of the Incas even though history tells us they were defeated a short time before Pizarro arrived.

"A team of archaeologists, led by Dr Mike Parker Pearson of Sheffield University, has recently found the remains of what are believed to be two mummified Bronze Age bodies, buried under the floor of a prehistoric house at Cladh Hallan on the Hebridean Island of South Uist. The house in which the mummy skeletons were buried was part of a unique Bronze Age complex, which is as mysterious as the preserved corpses that were buried there.

Telescope

'The skeletons looked very unusual...like Peruvian mummies'." (1)

This book will eye two isolate aspects or eras of the improvement of what Europeans think was all done in the Old World. Those eras will be post-Christianity and pre-Christianity. In both cases there will be elite white citizen with industrialized technology and in some cases this technology seems to have originated in Peru. When we go even supplementary back we will not be talking about white people. There are some Polynesian roots to this real history which will seem even more spectacular, than the apparent outlandish claim that Peru (Puma Puncu, Tiahuanaco and the even more keen Pyramid involved in the Madre de Dios region that form a battery) is at least the equal of Egypt and Sumer in terms of contributing real customary technology and culture. In fact the Brotherhood that colonized Sumer and Egypt might be these very people. We will try to pierce the veils of antiquity and overcome the destruction of records and evidences practiced upon South America by Empire Builders.

Our temerity and gall will fly in the face of 'experts' who decry postmodernized supposedly unsubstantiated assertions that seek to join the facts. These 'experts' continue their discovery by announcement approaches to science and deny all facts in cases like the Kensington Rune Stone. You can and should conclude for yourself, rather than accept the often disproven 'experts' whose arrogance knows few bounds. Consider the Scale of Nature that justified prejudice by putting the Hottentot and North American Indian just above the gorilla and far beneath many other supposedly civilized humans. This science was part of the basis for 'Manifest Destiny' and the genocidal rehabilitation of Indians while dispossessing them in order to civilize them. The disgust I feel knows no bounds!

The Pope has asked for 'forgiveness and renewal'. We think his academic henchmen and political mercenaries from the time of Columbus and the Treaty of Tordesillas have much to learn from him.

Pottery and sweat houses from Nw Europe, skull shaping and trepanning among the elite, Parcheesi, rubber, the wheel, gold laminating, stone masonry that is earthquake resistant, and the royal purple dye of the Phoenicians may have originated in Aztlan and its colonies throughout America. The mathematical and gargantuan knowledge enhanced by telescopes seems prominent when one knows La Venta, Mexico has brought lenses to archaeologists' hands. The Mayans discovered the mathematical concept of zero and a decimal system that nonetheless relegated them to a low position on the Scale of Nature, even after the Pope declared the North American was human some three decades after Columbus. Long before that and back to the time of Goliath the American citizen were traveling to the Middle East.

The list of inventions and cultural impacts on the whole world that create in America are seemingly never-ending yet the Canadian Museum of Civilization and all conservative emissaries of oppression verbalize there was no cultural impact! Recently it was discovered that the Mayan language was both phonetic and pictographic but Bishop Landa had clearly stated this was the case while he burned their libraries and librarians. What do you think about a map traced five hundred years ago that identifies the Bering Strait as it was 12,500 years ago? We only achieved this level of information in 1958.

Rituals and government like Pelota as an international court of justice and stamp of the movement of the planets nearby the sun originated in pre-Columbian America. Columbus's interpreters did not speak Chinese or any Asiatic tongue and we know he was an agent of a Templar group like his brethren along with Vasco da Gama who flew their red cross on the sails above their heads. We are nearly confident he had maps showing the way to North America and even the Britannica ridicules the Queen Isabella story about the funding of his expedition. I am sorry for the perpetual run-on sentences when I list a few of the achievements of these courageous citizen we have relegated to the dung heap of history and heresy.

Aristotle referred to happiness as the most we can achieve.

It is easy to be happy without all the things we obsess over. The equilibrium of our constituent selves and the possibility of participation in creating a whole or in conjunction with that Whole is going to be hard to beat for enlightenment. But most citizen over the last limited blip of human existence have bought into systems that deny the whole or any sense of Oneness. We have seen a 5000 year 'nightmare' as James Joyce wisely stated. The completely spectacular, thing about this - it is those elites who have told us they speak for God or are Divine Kings who in fact have used or led us into this soulful wasteland. We find a similar paradigm exists in scientism which denies the observable outcomes or effects of the soul and Esp.

Barthold Niebuhr said that bringing something back from the past or discovering anything, is a high that is akin to the many creativity. It is so spectacular, to learn and see the way of those we have denigrated as barbarian or primitive as they frolic in the joy of adventure and oneness with Nature as they nurtured each other.

The Heliopolitan religion or 'sun-worship' which is all over the whole world is revisited by the citizen like Gene Savoy who found it was well industrialized in Peru. He also built craft in the design of the Phoenicians from records found there. Here is a limited about the nature of 'sun-worship' to think upon.

"Long before the arrival of Jesus, Mithra was said to have been born of a virgin mother, in a cave, at the time of Christmas, and died on a cross at Easter. Baptism was practised, and the sign of the cross was made on the foreheads of all newly-baptised converts. Mithra was thought about to be the saviour of the world, conferring on his followers an eternal life in Heaven, and, similar to the story of Jesus, he died to save all others, provided that they were his followers." (2)

Genetics will be a difficult thing for varied historians who ardently hold their tenured 'me-too think' to overcome. I get hold almost every week for my history from just this one discipline of science. The claim that Australia or S. E. Asia is the origin of the first Americans has just hit the airwaves in September 2004 after I had closed writing this book. This is where I posit that pygmy citizen like Mungo Man who had chanting harmonic science came from and Churchward would love to see what is being shown from all so many disciplines today. Reuters carried this facts - "We want to make headlines from heads," said Professor Clive Gamble of Southampton University. "Dna will give us a completely new map of the world and how we peopled it." (3)

When the Incas refused to raise their arms to defend their lives against the arm-weary Spanish who hacked them to death (to kill 7,000 in one day); were they operating in 'Right Thought'? Were they more 'civilized' or plainly heathen believers who were duped by some astrological stupidity? We think the 177 Spanish were allowed to do this by wiser citizen who knew the immortal soul and our part in a grander task of things. But it might also be a case of the Chachapoyas (white men who led the Incas) production a deal with the Spanish and allowing this to happen; then they were betrayed. I advise they were willing to courageously face the soldiery of Evil and greedy religious oppressors; much as the Cathars who sang hymns while walking hand in hand with their children into the fires set for them by the Dominican Catholics. We are similarly Stupid! Because we know we are like a grain of sand on John Donne's beach; and we know 'for whom the Bell Tolls!'

Therefore this book will not hesitate to raise questions; I have no clear and definitive or closed-minded perception about most things I hope. We are not trying to clarify God for you - we know we are mere amazed gazers witnessing the majesty of something far greater. The corollary will enable our critics or enemies to ridicule us and demean our perspectives as 'absurd'. For myself, I've often said 'The only thing I'm prejudiced about - is Prejudice!' I still abjure and despise such elitist empowerment of divisiveness between lifeforms. There is no room for a closed 'mind' (certainly 'soul') in Love, or any true race of God (nature, reality).

After having written this book and twenty others detailing the 'travelers' impact on the world's cultural evolution I found that the small and troublesome lice confirm my speculations and evidences. There are two types of lice although they look identical. Dna shows they industrialized separately and diverged from one source at least 100,000 years ago, but that is a citizen crash era. One time-line in the on-going investigate speaks to the other end of the evidences I have proposed for the arrival of citizen (Homo line) in the Americas. This suggests up to 1.8 million years ago. So the North and South Americas have a distinctive lice and it will be keen to see if some remains of lice can be found on more modern human remains or mummies.

Neil Degrasse Tyson - Stupid Design

Neil Degrasse Tyson - Stupid Design Tube. Duration : 4.95 Mins.

The final report was published in 2002 and contained recommendations (for Congress and for the major agencies of the government) that would promote a thriving future of transportation, space exploration, and national security. In 2004, Tyson was once again appointed by President Bush to serve on a 9-member commission on the Implementation of the United States Space Exploration Policy, dubbed the "Moon, Mars, and Beyond" commission. This group navigated a path by which the new space vision can become a successful part of the American agenda. And in 2006, the head of NASA appointed Tyson to serve on its prestigious Advisory Council, which will help guide NASA through its perennial need to fit its ambitious vision into its restricted budget. In addition to dozens of professional ...

Black Holes Discovered In Globular Clusters

Black Holes Discovered In Globular Clusters Video Clips. Duration : 5.85 Mins.

www.facebook.com ... Hubblecast 15: Black Holes Unexpectedly Discovered In Globular Clusters NGC 5139 (Omega Centauri), M15 and G1. --- Please SUBSCRIBE to Science & Reason: • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com --- In general relativity, a black hole is a region of space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing, not even light, can escape. The black hole has a one-way surface, called an event horizon, into which objects can fall, but out of which nothing can come. It is called "black" because it absorbs all the light that hits it, reflecting nothing, just like a perfect black-body in thermodynamics. Quantum analysis of black holes shows them to possess a temperature and Hawking radiation. Despite its invisible interior, a black hole can reveal its presence through interaction with other matter. A black hole can be inferred by tracking the movement of a group of stars that orbit a region in space which looks empty. Alternatively, one can see gas falling into a relatively small black hole, from a companion star. This gas spirals inward, heating up to very high temperatures and emitting large amounts of radiation that can be detected from earthbound and earth-orbiting telescopes. Such observations have resulted in the scientific consensus that, barring a breakdown in our understanding of nature, black holes do exist in our galaxy. en.wikipedia.org --- Omega Centauri or NGC 5139 is a globular cluster seen in the constellation of Centaurus ...
